About this Event
Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) for a day of tree and shrub planting at the "hairpin turn" on the Woonasquatucket River Greenway in Providence. We'll meet at our ranger team building at 90 Salmon street where there is parking available and then walk over to the planting site. The hairpin turn is the greenspace on the Greenway right off of Sheridan Street and by the bridge connecting the Greenway to Merino Park.

Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) this October for a series of community tree and shrub plantings! These plantings help replace lost trees, add vital understory plants, and improve habitat along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway. Volunteers of all ages are welcome — bring friends, neighbors, or your corporate team to help make a difference!
