The inaugural event took place on the 31st of July 2022, at 6 Spin Street and the second event on the 12th of November 2023, at The Terrace Rooftop in Cape Town. This event brought together many businesses and customers in the beauty economy including the famous house name Foschini SA as brand partners. Personal care and beauty is an industry that cuts across all walks of life for every person you encounter, and being able to access a community of learning, engagement as well getting to understand the professional standards and quality products is something for people of colour that isn't formally in existence until now. Our aim is not just bring these women together to learn, but also highlight local small businesses (with their challenges ) in the industry.
