With more than 20 years of experience dancing with her hair down, Rhya has body movement technique, tips, and tricks to share!This workshop will focus on connecting head movement into overall technique, covering a variety of hair flips and movement options, then layering Hairography with a jazz fusion combo. Combo will be taught at an intermediate level pace, but the workshop is open to all dancers. Emphasis will be on how to handle and accent medium to long hair when dancing but the techniques for head movement are true, no matter the length or texture.
All hair lengths and styles are welcome. Your choice of shoes, heels or flats are welcome. Learn to enjoy and embrace dancing with your hair flowing free!
