⭐ Haiku Milieu ⭐
"Jenny Bienemann is an award-winning singer-songwriter, poet, and visual artist. Her most recent full-length book, Sundays with Jenny, premiered at The Venue in 2024 and won the Poetry category in both the 2025 International Book Awards and the New York Book Festival. This year, she returns with her second “tiny book,” The Come Back, celebrated with a special Haiku Milieu concert at The Venue.
Throughout the evening, you’ll hear brand-new songs inspired by her haiku. Because we're so close to Valentine's Day, this concert has a special emphasis on duos! The artists are a who’s-who of Chicago musicians, including: Naomi Ashley, Annie Bacon, Jason Benefield, Jenny Bienemann, Robin Bienemann, Downtown Charlie Brown, Demi Clara, Steve Doyle, Noah Gabriel, Sarabeth Go, Joe Gorka, Mary Halm, Donna Herula, Kelli Owens Hutton, Ione, Rebecca Jasso, Pete Jive, Nathan K., Aaron Kelly, Lilli Kuzma, Ron Lazzeretti, Dan Leali, Lisa P. Medina, Julia Miller, Jon Paul, Matthew Pittman, Dave Ramont, Heather Styka, Jodi Walker, Alice Wallace, and Jon Williams.
