After 30 years of touring with acclaimed Celtic Rock band Enter the Haggis, Craig Downie knows how to entertain. Enter the Haggis focused on the fan experience, creating music with a perfect balance between innovation and tradition, and making the band a staple at PACs and festivals. Haggis X-1 features Craig’s piping, vocals, songwriting and loveable sense of humour, surrounded by top-notch musicians including Tom Barraco and Trevor Lewington (Enter the Haggis) on drums and guitar/vocals, and Emily Yarascovitch (Tartan Terrors, Step Crew) on fiddle and step-dancing. Tom's dad, Rob Barraco (Dark Star Orchestra, Phil Lesh and Friends, The Dead) played piano and organ on the debut record. Haggis X-1 plans to draw fans into venues by promoting tour dates through Enter the Haggis’ extensive social media and email reach. The “Haggis” name association will further attract the attention of fans who have enjoyed Enter the Haggis in the past.
