Oor Haggis Hunt Family Highlight of Perth's St. Andrew’s Day CelebrationsPerth, Scotland – Sunday, 24th November 2024 – Get ready for a day of fun and discovery with the Oor Haggis Hunt, a key highlight of Perth’s St. Andrew’s Day celebrations! On Sunday, 24th November, families, friends, and visitors are invited to take part in this exciting event by searching for Oor Haggis figures hidden Haggis in shop windows around Perth's City Centre.
Local businesses are thrilled to take part, and participants will have the chance to explore the city while competing for some fantastic prizes. The Oor Haggis Hunt will offer special awards for both children and adults:
Prizes for Children:
1. Oor Haggis Goodie Bag including New Childrens Book

The Oor Haggis Caravan will also be set up in Perth City Centre as part of the day's festivities. Children can enjoy solving puzzles and filling in colouring sheets at the caravan, while everyone can meet and take photos with the original Oor Haggis. It promises to be a great family-friendly day out!
Michael Bolye, Perth’s St. Andrew’s Day event coordinator, commented:

Participants can pick up their Oor Haggis Hunt maps from Oor Haggis Caravan on Saturday 24th November or download the PDF from Monday 19th November and track down all the hidden Haggis for a chance to win big! The hunt runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, and the prize draws will take place at the end of the event. Maps will also be available online to download from Monday 18th November.
Along with the hunt, Perth’s St. Andrew’s Day celebrations will feature live music, delicious food stalls, and other family-friendly entertainment throughout the city.
