**Haffway: The Wither Tour live at Eddie's Attic!**HAFFWAY is the artist half of producer and songwriter Sam Westhoff, creating what he calls “folkternative” — a blend of cinematic folk, alternative soul, and raw storytelling. What began as a personal outlet during creative burnout has evolved into one of the most compelling artist stories of the past few years.
After his early Prequel EP gained traction with fans and peers alike, HAFFWAY quickly found himself balancing life as an artist and producer for others like Cece Coakley, Bo Staloch, and Sam MacPherson. His breakout continued with Lady Lou, a shimmering collection of songs featuring Wilderado, Trousdale, and Keyland, and his track “Right Here” found a national audience after premiering on Grey’s Anatomy.
His debut album, Wither, arrived in 2025 — an emotionally charged journey through love, loss, and mental health. “It’s a properly sad album,” he admits. “If you listen top down, you’ll get a pretty solid understanding of the rollercoaster of my mental health… The first song feels like ‘I’ll hold you so close they’ll have to bury us in the same casket,’ and the last one ends with ‘don’t let me wither, I’ve never been sicker.’”
Wither includes standout collaborations like “Golden” (ft. Brent Cobb) and “Wither” (ft. Benjamin Francis Leftwich) alongside fan favorites “Bones Sleep,” “Better If Worse,” and “Drunk On Easter.” Following its release, HAFFWAY completed a sold-out North American run with Dermot Kennedy and a European tour with Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, connecting deeply with audiences across both continents.
Outside his own artistry, Westhoff continues to make waves as a producer and writer with recent and upcoming releases for Shaboozey, Matt Maeson, Dermot Kennedy, Hunter Metts, Cece Coakley, and others.
A dual force of vulnerability and craft, HAFFWAY bridges the deeply personal and the universally felt. His music finds light in sadness and connection in solitude — the kind of songs that make you feel a little less alone when it’s raining and should’ve been snowing.
