Dear Lebanese Outdoor Adventurers, Embark with us this Sunday, on an inspiring adventure & colorful trail from the charming village of Hadchit, to the scenic mountain village of HasrounThis colorful trail takes us through the beautiful northern mountains of Lebanon, full of history and nature. We will visit old and peaceful monasteries like Mar Sarkis & Bakhos and Mar Bahnam. Along the way, we will discover St Chmoune, a quiet and lovely place in nature. We will cross a small iron bridge over the river, enjoying the fresh mountain air. Then, we will go up to Mar Assia monastery, a calm spot to rest and enjoy the quiet. After that, we shall continue walking through green valleys and forests. The hike ends in Hasroun village, at 1420 meters, with its red roofs and beautiful mountain views, a perfect place to relax after our walk.

• Level: Moderate 5 Hours / Distance: 13 km
• Altitude range: 1400 m - 950 m - 1420 m
• Slope Variation: +450m -450m
• Meeting: 7:00, am, Jal-el-Dib, behind DHL, at the parking lot.
• We can pick up the hikers who live on our way
• Departure: 7:30 am (SHARP).
• Breakfast stop on our way (15 minutes)
• Estimated time of arrival back in Beirut: 6:30 pm
To be prepared for this hike, you will need:
• Hiking shoes (waterproof)
• Buff/ Beanie / Warm headwear / Warm gloves
• Lightweight windproof /waterproof jackets
• Healthy snacks (sandwiches, energy bars, dried fruits, nuts…).Water (2 liters)
• Backpack / Hiking sticks
• ID & personal insurance cards.
Contribution: 20 USD or equivalent market rate in LBP to include: Transportation, guides, and a first aid kit, but does not cover medical insurance.
