Bring a laptop along to just chill out with others, bring a fiber project, or just bring your curiosity and questions. We're excited to meet you!
HackLab.TO is a community space with a diverse membership, including artists, computer programmers, web designers, hardware hackers, and creators of many types. It is inspired by the philosophies of the global hackerspaces movement which encourages people to socialize, share knowledge, and work together on their projects.
This open house is different from our every Tuesday event. The women of Hacklab are hosting this for members of the public, and specifically women who are interested in learning about makerspaces. We’re specifically excited about folks who want to learn about who we are and what we do, who have projects they have made or are working on that they want to show and tell, who want to ask for help with making something awesome, or who want to help out on other folks’ projects.
