Your autonomic nervous system (ANS) regulates your fight and flight and your rest and digest response, switching between the two. Most of us have too much of the former, and not enough of the latter, leading to stress, anxiety, issues with digestion or sleep and more.
This workshop will teach you some practical, evidence-based ways to regulate your ANS. While it is involuntary, it can be influenced through deep breathing, movement, yoga and more. And it will feel good! Suitable for all ages and abilities.
After taking up meditation in childhood, and yoga as a teen, Colette has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2017. She’s also studying a Bachelor of Health Science in Myotherapy (neuromusculoskeletal therapy) and is passionate about working into the body for self-empowerment, connection and joy.
