Work in progress-præsentation fra circusnext-finalisterne, kompagniet Faro Celeste.Hack the Circus er et low-tech science-fiction-show, hvor teknologiske enheder fremstilles i hånden, ligesom du ville gøre i din egen køkkenhave.
I en postapokalyptisk fremtid har tre kvinder overlevet ved at søge ly på et mørkt sted fyldt med elektroniske materialer og planter. De taler ikke det samme sprog, de er ikke på samme alder, de har ikke den samme sceneerfaring. Det er et uvalgt fællesskab, sat sammen af behovet for at indsamle og arkivere det, der er tilbage efter katastrofen. I hackerspacet, der fungerer som deres hjem, er vi vidne til deres daglige liv, som kredser om elektroniske opfindelser og finurligheder, pleje af deres planter, deres udstyr og dem selv. En skønne dag kommer en fjerde kvinde og tvinger dem til at sætte spørgsmålstegn ved deres forhold til livet sammen, forståelse, hukommelse og glemsel.

Hack the Circus is a low-tech science-fiction show in which technological devices are made by hand, just as you would make your own vegetable garden.
In a post-apocalyptic future, three women have survived by taking shelter in a dark place filled with electronic materials and plants. They don’t speak the same language, they’re not the same age, they don’t have the same stage experience. It’s an unchosen community, brought together by the need to collect and archive what remains after the catastrophe. In the hackerspace that serves as their home, we witness their daily lives, which revolve around electronic tinkering, invention, caring for their plants, their equipment and themselves. One fine day, a fourth woman arrives and forces them to question their relationship to cohabitation, understanding, memory and forgetting.
