Why are some people happier than others?
Why is happiness often so elusive? We tend to make the attainment of happiness more complicated than it actually is, by believing that we need things such as success, praise, status, looks, material possessions and so forth to achieve it.
The reality is that none of these things can give us lasting happiness and chasing them actually makes us prone to anxiety, frustration and disappointment.
Buddha explains simple attitudes that we can all learn to cultivate that will make us really happy.
On this course we will learn to cultivate the happy minds of contentment, giving and humility.
We will explore several meditations and ways of thinking that uplift the mind and we’ll see that by carrying these with mindfulness into our day we can maintain a light, joyful attitude whatever life throws our way.
