About this Event
We are having a day of habitat building over at Forever Fields. We want to improve and increase biodiversity onsite by creating multiple ecosystems for our native wildlife to thrive in. This in turn helps us to grow healthy and abundant fruit and veg. Everyone is a winner!
Join us for a few different planting and building activities throughout the day. These will include:
- Planting native hedgerow species along the fence to create a home and food for birds, insects and many others!
- Planting sprint flowering bulbs to add beauty and a much needed early meal for pollinators.
- Building, decorating and installing bird and batboxes into the established trees
- Building a five star hotel for both hedgehogs and insects!
We will provide all the tools you need and light refreshments, there are toilets onsite.
If you have accessibility requirements please let me know: [email protected]
Please wear closed, sensible outdoor footwear and gardening clothes and bring with you any sun/rain protection you might need on the day. All ages welcome, under 16s must be supervised by their parents/guardians.
