This course will be delivered in-person by Cardiff and Vale College at their campus on Dumballs Road, Cardiff, Cardiff CF10 5FE. Cardiff and Vale College have implemented strict covid-19 measures to make their in-person training safe for delegates. This course offers a comprehensive guide to best practice when it comes to fire safety. Ideal for managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire marshals and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire. The course is also ideal for employee inductions.
Topics include:
hazards, risks and means of escape
common causes of fire in the workplace
hazards during or after a fire
how fire can spread
the steps within a fire risk assessment
the types and uses of fire-fighting equipment
the role of fire wardens in the workplace
Delegates will receive a Highfield Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety (RQF)on successful completion of this course.
