Have you ever seen Ha Ha Tonka State Park? Have you seen it in all the fall colors? Ha Ha Tonka State Park has several trails for walking and hiking, all of them with stunning views and loads of history.
Join me for a fall colors cruise to Ha Ha Tonka. We will meet at the Menards off Chestnut and 65 by 9:30am with cruise out by 9:45. We’ll cruise up 65 to Buffalo and then onto Hwy 73 which will take us to Hwy 54, leading to Tonka.
Bring your walking shoes, some trail mix or beef jerky and bottles of water because we’ll walk from the lower parking lot of the Castle Trail, up to the castle., it’s roughly 1/2mile. Once everyone has had their fill of the Castle’s historic glory, we’ll go back to the cars and cruise on over to the Spring trail where we can walk down to check out the spring and all the fall colors.
Don’t feel like we have to stay together when enjoying the trails, this is just an opportunity for everyone to get out of the cars, stretch your legs and enjoy Mother Nature’s beautiful pallet of colors
The parking lot is huge there and I plan to arrange for a photographer to snap pics.
If anyone is interested in more photo ops, we can roll into Camdenton and pose near some of the fabulous wall art that I’ve found there and we can grab lunch at Ixtapa, Mexican restaurant.
