SPRING is here, the weather is warmer, birds are chirping, so once again, it is time to determine who is.........The King of the White Belts !! AKA The frantic scrap for the big PINK strap.(WhoooooWeeee, that is a good looking belt.)
The previous five times were a ton of fun, with, Jeremiah OX Stafford coming away as the inaugural winner in 2020 and Devin Williams working his way through 3 giant super heavyweights to claim the strap in 2021, then the bald, bashful, beautiful beast, Silas Belt clobbering the competition in 2022, then in 2023 Hollywood Connor triangled his way to victory (and then promptly moved away). Last year Robbie Jividen used his spiderlike limbs to throw triangles left and right, taking the belt.
Gladly, most of our competitors from the first 5 rounds of this madness have ascended to Blue Belt and are no longer eligible.
But we have a whole bunch of savage, new, white belts, filled with the fury, frustration & fear that is inherent to the rank.
We will let the mats decide. Yes, it sucks being a white belt, always the nail & never the hammer, but now you can be the #1 white belt, at the TOP of the BOTTOM.
Who will be the NEW King (or QUEEN, come on ladies) of the White Belts ??
This will be a fun tournament, all white belts are encouraged to enter, (volunteer now before you get voluntold).
We have the same beautiful, (pink alligator skin) fantastic title belt up for grabs.
This tournament will be in the Gi, with 5 minute rounds, standard scoring & rules.
There will be brackets ("random" draw), referees and a nice prize for second place.
Winner will defend the belt but will get a first round bye in the next tournament. (Unless they level up and are no longer a white belt.)
