The Gypsy Ramblers are a five-piece band who play a blend of gypsy, jazz, 'dawg', and blues music. The sound is intriguing and the material is engaging - mixing original instrumental and vocal songs with a handful of unique covers.
The group features Matt Robinson on mandolin, Butch Sanders on drums, Lavinia Reid on violin, Jeff Kauffman on guitar, and Bill Unger on bass. Influences include David Grisman, Joe Craven, Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grappelli, and Irvin Berlin, to name a few, and the sound is reminiscent of these artists.
