Gym to Crag 102: Top Rope Anchors

Prerequisites:

Completion of the clinics listed below (or equivalent climbing experience) is required to participate in this course. Exceptions may be made if you already possess the necessary skills outlined below.

Required Clinics or Equivalent Experience:

None

Knowldege of Skills Suggested for This Clinic:

Ability to top rope belay using both brake-assisted and tube-style devices (belaying from above is optional). Familiarity with the following knots and hitches:

Required Gear:

-Harness

Optional Gear (we have this gear to borrow if you don't have it):

• Petzl Gri-Gri (or similar device) w/ locking caribiner
• 120cm or 240 cm slings
• Cordelette (7mm or larger; at least 18')
• 4 Locking caribiners (D shaped x2, Pear shaped ×2)

• Class is limited to 10 participants
