We are posting this Event FOR the Auto Shop, as their Facebook page and Instagram feed are no longer being monitored.George Washington High School's Auto Shop will hold their 3rd annual Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show on Saturday, April 20, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Live music, food and drink available for purchase, raffle tickets, Auto Shop tours. Free for spectators. No alcohol and no smoking (anything) anywhere on campus.
For vehicle participants, registration per vehicle is $35 in advance (or $40 cash day-of, ONLY if space available) which includes a box lunch, register at http://tinyurl.com/GWHSCarShowReg
Sponsorships, which will place your name/company on the event program AND on the back of the official t-shirt. Please specify the name and logo to use.
• Bronze ($150) will help purchase supplies and spread needed awareness
• Silver ($300) will help purchase with costly protective equipment
• Gold ($500) will help purchase welding supplies and sheet metal

GWHS' Auto Shop reopened in 2012. It is the only public high school in San Francisco with an auto shop, and the program serves all students in S.F. interested in learning the trade with an after-school program (from 4pm to 6pm), along with four daytime classes in automotive repair. It is critical for us to remain available for high school students throughout S.F. As you know, not every student is meant for a four-year university. We want to ensure students are ready for life, no matter who they are. With the school district budget shortfall, we need your help funding materials that ensure safety and new projects for the students. It takes about $15,000 to run the auto program for our 130 students. The Car Show is critical to fundraise for our program. The 2023 show, which featured over 200 vehicles from the 1920s and up, raised enough to provide supplies and personal protective equipment for each student. We also bought sheet metal and hardware for students to build their own toolboxes.
