Please join us to learn about the numerous Programs and Services of Springfield's Lincoln Library from the Director, Gwendolyn Harrison. Gwendolyn received her Bachelor's degree in library science from Illinois State University in 1984 and received her Master's degree in library and information science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1997. She was a library assistant at Lincoln Library from 1983-1999 where she managed the Lincoln Library's Southeast Branch, which is no longer open. She later served as a program specialist and reference librarian at the State Library and as the Chief Librarian for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.Visitors are welcome to join us and may enjoy a buffet dinner for $15.
