GVLL Spring 2025 Majors Tryouts

We are inviting all 9-12 year olds registered for a Spring 2025 baseball division to attend the Majors/AAA Tryout. Players 9-10 years old who intend to play in Minors do not need to attend the tryout.

If you wish to play in Majors or AAA you MUST sign up for and attend the tryout. To attend the tryout, you MUST be registered for the season at http://gvllnyc.com.

To sign up for the tryout:

• Click "Reserve a Spot" above to see the available timeslots
• If you are returning to Majors, you MUST attend one of the slots from 9am-10:30pm
• Pick ONLY a slot that corresponds to your prior year division and your age, and whether you are trying out for pitcher and/or catcher

After the tryout, a draft will be held to select the Majors teams, and then another to select the AAA teams. Players who played in Majors last year, or who are 12 years old, will be selected for a Majors team. Players who are 11 years old, will be selected for either the Majors or AAA. Any players not selected in either draft will be assigned to a Minors team.

Tryouts for all players include a warm up, then batting, fielding, and optionally pitching and/or catching.

ALL PLAYERS NEED TO BE REGISTERED FOR THE SPRING 2025 SEASON PRIOR TO TRYOUT. IF YOU HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED PLEASE TO DO SO FIRST, AND THEN SCHEDULE YOUR TRYOUT.
