Guy Standing, one of the world’s most influential thinkers on basic income (universal basic income), is coming to Syre’s Basic Income Beer – live via link on February 20.
It has been 15 years since his breakthrough book The Precariat, in which he described how globalization, rapid technological change and insecure work are creating a new global class: the precariat.
