Was bleibt einzigartig, wenn ein klassisches Symbol durch klischeebeladene Banalität ersetzt wird? L'APRÈS-MIDI D'UNE LICORNE sucht nach Queerness und Einzigartigkeit im Bild eines Einhorns. Mit Fragmenten aus Nijinskys DER NACHMITTAG EINES FAUNS und den Wandteppichen von LA DAME À LA LICORNE aus dem 16. Jahrhundert ist diese Tanzperformance zugleich eine Hommage an und eine Verweigerung von traditionellen und heterosexuellen Tanznormen.
Guy Marsan ist Performer, Tänzer und Choreograph. 2016 gewann er den Choreographie-Preis des KunstSalons in Köln. 2019 war er Stipendiat im Fachbereich Tanz der Akademie der kulturellen Bildung in NRW.

L'APRÈS-MIDI D'UNE LICORNE
What remains unique when a classic symbol is replaced by cliché-loaded banality? L’APRÈS-MIDI D’UNE LICORNE searches for queerness and uniqueness in the image of a unicorn. With fragments from Nijinsky's THE AFTERNOON OF A FAUN and the 16th century tapestries of LA DAME À LA LICORNE, this dance performance is both a homage to and a refusal of traditional and heterosexual dance norms.
Guy Marsan is a performer, dancer and choreographer. In 2016 he won the Choreography Prize of the KunstSalon in Cologne. In 2019 he was a scholarship holder in the dance department of the Academy of Cultural Education in NRW.
