About this Event
We are fundraising for Guts UK, a charity committed to fighting all kinds of gut diseases including coeliac disease, crohn's disease, and colitis. Digestive systems are misunderstood, underfunded, and neglected. Discover how Guts UK want to change that!
A Ceilidh (pronounced "Kay-lea"), is enjoyed by all ages – from youngsters’ first Scottish dancing experience to old-timers out enjoying a burl. People come dressed in jeans, full highland dress – and everything in between.
You don't have to be Scottish or have any experience of dancing to enjoy this great night. Coming along in a kilt though is actively encouraged though. Our Charity Ceilidh is all about coming along and enjoying yourself.
You don’t need to know what to do, our caller (Schuggie) will explain the dances and there are lots of friendly folk to give you a hand and get everyone up dancing and the bar will be open if you need a little more help!
Doors will open at 19:30 and Scottish dancing to recorded music will commence from 20:00-23:00.
Tickets are £5 for adults at the door, either cash or card, but we would really appreciate it if you could register your interest on this Eventbrite listing, so we can have an idea of the numbers. Children have free entry!
There is plenty of free parking available at the venue.
We look forward to seeing you there!
