Finalists for the 2023 Australian Folk Music Awards’ Artist of the Year, Gusto Gusto are dance floor favourites. Hailing from West Preston, a tiny pocket in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, the last two years have seen them storming stages including Glastonbury Festival (UK), Brunswick Music Festival (VIC) and Woodford Folk Festival (QLD).In October 2024, Gusto Gusto release their anticipated debut album ‘...To The Ocean They Returned’, a raucous blend of violin, trumpet and clarinet, backed by accordion, guitar, bass and drums. The album is lead by single ‘Gorgon’ - a drum-led dance explosion with a moody trumpet solo and a ripping guitar feature.
‘...To The Ocean They Returned’ comes out with a three-week UK tour and a national Australian tour including festival shows across five states.
