Gusto features sixteen new oil paintings inspired by the great Romantic poets and is named after William Hazlitt’s essay ‘On Gusto’, written in 1817. Cadogan created Gusto while in lockdown and what emerged was a body of work that strives to give hope out of the global health and economic crisis.
Nancy Cadogan's works, described by The Evening Standard Magazine as “heaven on canvas”, are vibrant and vital and, by virtue of her love of Italy, of literature, and of Romanticism, find a natural home in the Keats-Shelley House.

Gusto, il cui titolo prende ispirazione dal saggio di William Hazlitt "Sul Gusto" (1817), si compone di sedici nuovi dipinti ad olio ispirati ai grandi poeti romantici. Nancy Cadogan ha creato Gusto mentre era in isolamento e ciò che è emerso è un lavoro che intende infondere speranza in questo momento di crisi economica e sanitaria globale.
Le opere di Nancy Cadogan, descritte dall'Evening Standard Magazine come un "paradiso su tela", sono vibranti e vitali e, in virtù dell'amore per l'Italia provato dall'artista, per la letteratura e per il Romanticismo, trovano nella Keats-Shelley House una collocazione ideale.
