**Changing the philosophy changes the way you think about the problems you face.**Join us for an exclusive 90-minute seminar with Guro Steve Klement, a practitioner of 44 years and direct student of Suro Mike Inay. Guro Klement will be teaching Kadena de Mano ("Chain of the Hand")—the specialized empty-hand and knife component of the Inayan System of Eskrima.
The Lineage & Style Originally taught by the legendary Max Sarmiento (Kadeno de Mano) with elments of Angel Cabales' Serrada have been integrated into the Inayan system by Suro Mike Inay, this style of empty handed training is a style of Filipino boxing akin to Kun Tao and/or Panantukan. Unlike the "win-or-lose" mindset of modern combat sports, this style operates on a "life-or-death" philosophy. It is always mindful that a weapon may be introduced at any second.
**What We Will Cover?**
This is an asymmetrical style of hand-to-hand combat designed to end altercations immediately. You will learn to:
- Flow through ranges: Move lightning-fast from long range to trapping range, to grappling, and back out.
- Control the chaos: Utilize "Chain of Hand" mechanics to trap, destroy, and break the opponent's structure.
- Shift your mindset: Apply the tactical awareness of weapon-based combat to empty-hand encounters.
**Who Should Attend?**
We recommend this seminar for EVERYONE!
- Strikers & MMA Athletes: Learn to manage distance and damage when the rules are removed.
- Grapplers: Discover how to integrate Trapping into your grappling repertoire. Coach Eric has long utilized this system of thinking to not only train more effectively but coach more effectively!
- Beginners: Learn effective self-defense that relies on mechanics rather than brute strength.
