THE HISTORYOctober 3, 2021 - Guns Down Gloves Up 2021 SummitWe curated and hosted a free community summit bringing together another 1200+ people including government officials, Metropolitan Police Department, entrepreneurs, and community organizations that provided people with alternative solutions to gun violence: Workshops included: Credituilding/repair, Real state investing made simple, Emotional intelligence- Keys to success, Social Justice Role-play and Panel, Message from a Single mother.Live Performances: Local Go-Go Band TOB,Spoken Word artists and the Trap Violinist. Sanctioned Boxing Matches: 14 USA BOXING sanctioned Bouts for kids ranging from ages 8-20 years old. Where belts and medals were presented to the fighters.

After the bout the two young men gained a new respect for one another and the arguing and threats ceased.

We understand that fighting alone won’t end GUN VIOLENCE AND NOTHING WE DO WILL BE A QUICK FIX. Therefore We will not only be providing live boxing demos, we are offering other ways to combat this GUN VIOLENCE as well, Job readiness, on site interviews, resume building, mental health awareness and much more..
