The Gunners is just that and more! A Guns n Roses Show like no other!
Jesse Attard is the driving force, starting at the tender age of 14 touring the world as 'Angus" for the now legendary "ACCA DACCA" and before that playing drums for the band. Jesse is a multi-talented musician who also plays guitar for the theatre production "She Will Rock You" and is still performing in ACCA DACCA as Angus.
When Larry Attard singer for "ACCA DACCA" decided to step down, Jesse did some recordings thinking he might be able to fill the void. However, Larry wanted to keep his world class guitarist and Chad from Dirty Deeds. Sydney was recruited. After hearing the recordings it was clear to everyone that Jesse sounds unbelievably like Axl Rose and so the idea of Gunners came to light!
Backing band was an easy pick, some from ACCA DACCA, others like seasoned pro, Greg Aldrige, and well known acquaintances.
Slash was gonna be just that bit hard, however, we had a friend Dean Blackborough who lives and breathes Gunners. After approaching him, he jumped at it and plays the part to the tee!
Punters can expect nothing less than a full Guns n Roses experience with Axl and Slash going hard as usual! Up front and the band pushing out that authentic GUNNERS sound!
