It's time to unleash your inner Cajun! Join us Saturday, March 1st for the best Gumbo this side of the Sabine!For all our PATRONS:
-$20 admission gets you entry to the cook-off, 3 tokens to vote for your favorite gumbos, plus 3 drink tickets, good for any of our 24 beers on draft!
-Cash or card accepted at the door.
-Gumbo will be ready to serve at 2PM.
-People's choice judging ends at 4PM.
-Awards presented shortly after.
For our COMPETITORS:
-Registration fee is $25 per team.
-Roux and other ingredients may be prepared ahead. However, the gumbo must be assembled on-site and may contain a SABW brew of your choice!
-May contain seafood, chicken, and/or sausage. Any gumbo containing any shellfish product must be labeled as such.
-Setup begins at 9:00AM. Gumbo must be ready for consumption at 2:00PM.
-People's choice judging ends at 4PM.
-Team Spirit winners will be decided by the SABW staff.
-Awards presented shortly after 4PM.
-You may register by sending an email to [email protected], or in person during any of our business hours.
-BYO set up including: tents, tables, gas burners, and utensils. Bowls and spoons will be provided. Banners are encouraged! There is an award for Best Team Spirit!
