GULO GANGEen hijgende roedel veelvraten sleurt je mee op een zweterige queeste door een mysterieuze microkosmos. Gulo Gang serveert een explosieve mix van postpunk, elektronica en oosterse folkrock. Ze veranderen elk podium in een zinderend plonsbad, met echo’s van King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Fat Dog en Viagra Boys.
De broers Michiel en Kris D’Haeze vormen het kloppende hart van de band: Michiel met zijn breekbare, karaktervolle stem; Kris met een saxofoon die zowel scheurt als streelt. Rond hen staan drie topmuzikanten die van Gulo Gang een ronkende tripmachine maken, met noisy gitaren, subtiele synths en melancholische harmonieën.
Gulo Gang houdt zich ver van alles wat hip en trendy is. Geen studiotrucs, geen opvulling, geen kopie — alleen pure, rauwe live-energie die zelfs het stugste publiek ontdooit.
WODIWO
Wodiwo is a duo featuring Odile Versele on bass and vocals and Oskar Cappon on percussion and vocals. Together, they create music that fuses melancholy with raw energy, resulting in a sound that’s both layered and intimate.
Using a loop station, Wodiwo builds their compositions piece by piece, adding depth and texture with each loop. Odile’s basslines and emotive vocals lay a strong foundation, while Oskar’s dynamic percussion and harmonies add movement and contrast. Their unpolished sound forms a unique collage of minimalism and richness.
