Back by popular demand, High Note Bar and Grill are excited to present Guitarface! September 6, 2025, doors open at 7:00. Guitarface is the energetic, guitar-driven duo of Gordie Matthews and Jimmy Guiboche combining a diverse mix of musical styles creating a fun, roots-based musical experience. Having played together over the last 20 years or so, the two veteran guitarists realized a certain chemistry as they experienced spontaneous outbursts of musical shenanigans virtually every time they played together. The band name came from the obvious...there's no hiding that. They play a mix of cool, classic covers and also consolidate their skills steeped in blues, country, surf and rock and roll to create their own fine original tunes as well. Blending in the muscular grooves of the skilled rhythm section of Chris Grapel on bass and Scotty Anderson on drums, the quartet is truly a force to be reckoned with!
