Guinness Live & Rising returns to Cork on one lovely day in May, by inviting music lovers to the Deep South Pub, Cork City for a very special event to officially kick start summer.
This is your chance to discover fresh Irish talent alongside a special guest performance from one of Ireland’s most talented musicians, Kojaque, fresh from their performance at Lovely Day to Open the Gate.
We'll be firing up the grill for a mouthwatering BBQ to keep those summer vibes going. This event is all about celebrating the beginning of summer and the rise of new talent in Ireland.
The Live & Rising series was launched by global superstar Dermot Kennedy who performed in local Dublin pubs to surprise fans back in May 2023. Celebrating it’s 1 year anniversary, Guinness Live & Rising works to showcase unique collaborations with new and established talent from the worlds of music, food, sport, and the arts while spotlighting all the talent that Ireland has to offer.
This summer Guinness will also be showing up at some of Ireland’s most anticipated festivals and events, including Forbidden Fruit, Live at the Marquee and All Together Now where the Lovely Days Stage will return. In between sets at the Lovely Days Stage, festival goers can enjoy a creamy pint and a taste of what’s to come this summer at the Guinness 1759 Bar with plenty of unmissable moments across the August Bank Holiday weekend.
