YES! You read correctly - the NSW Cavy Club is holding another fantastic PET SHOW at Wyee on the 28th JulyThis show will be just pet classes - where Members and the Public can enter, so bring along YOUR GUINEA PIGS!
Entries will be taken on the day between 9-9.30am, with class judging starting at 10.30am.
Marshy's Munchies will be there with their fabulous Food Van and will have a variety of things available throughout the day including, but no limited to, Bacon and Egg Rolls for breakfast and Burgers and Kebabs for Lunch!
PetStock will also be Sponsoring our event so there will be some Gift Cards to win also!
There will be 11 amazing classes your guinea pigs can go into - so enter as few or as many as you wish
* Best Adult Boar (boys over 1 year)
* Best Adult Sow (girls over 1 year)
* Heaviest Cavy (yes, we will weigh them on the scales!)
* Best Young Boar (boys under 1 year)
* Best Young Sow (girls under 1 year)
* Fancy Dress (get creative and make some outfits)
* Best Diorama (use props and create a whole scene)
* Best Single Colour (predominantly 1 colour all over)
* Most Colourful (lots of colours all over)
* Craziest Hair (lets see those crazy coats!)
* Fastest Muncher (who will eat their food the quickest??!)
Things to know about entering:
* Guinea Pigs must be 3months or older to enter (if they are under 3 months, don't worry there is another pet show scheduled for November!)
* Please ensure they are clean - give them a bath the day/week prior
* Trim their nails - if you are unsure how to, this can be done at the show for a gold coin donation
* Bring them in a secure carry cage - put woodshavings, newpaper pellets or even a towel as bedding to absorb any urine (just newspaper alone isnt suitable and puppy pads will have them remaining wet if they sit in a wee patch)
* Leave the water bottles off during travel - they can be added once there (travel water bottles will be available for sale at the show for $5), bring some of their favourite veggies for them to eat during the day
* Donations to the raffle table are greatly appreciated
This is a day to have fun with your guinea pigs and being around other people who love them as much as you do!
