Saqib got his start in the electronic music industry when he moved to NYC in 2013 and became the first resident DJ for Members Only. This was timed with his first release on Audiofly’s Flying Circus via a compilation by Blondish. He cut his teeth playing records week in and week out sharing the decks with some of the biggest names in the industry including Lee Burridge, Audiofly, Blond:ish, Bedouin, Dixon and Seth Troxler to name a few. He has an infectious energy that quickly catches those around him. His dancefloor instigations light a fire that certifiably brings the people together. His finger is always on the party-ON switch.
With a unique musical background and eclectic style, DJ’s and dancers alike can easily pick out a Saqib set and production from the rest. Since his first EP in 2013 he has put out more than 30 releases hitting the Beatport charts in the genres of deep house, tech house, organic house, and minimal/dub techno.
