Guiding AI in Business
Guiding AI in Business is an intensive, 10-hour workshop designed for senior business leaders who want to understand the current and future potential of AI in business. The symposium covers key topics such as different types of AI, generative AI and natural language processing, robotics and mobility, and the future of AI. All topics will be presented through a mix of easily accessible lectures, interactive breakout sessions, and practical demonstrations. Participants will gain valuable insights into the applications of AI across various industries, leaving with actionable implementation steps and a deeper understanding of how AI is shaping the future of work.
Ideal Participant
Non-technical senior business leaders who are eager to better understand the immediate and long-term application of AI in commerce and business. The symposium fosters learning, and conversation focused on each participant’s industry and business objectives.

The different types of AI and what they are/aren't good at
- An overview of what AI/machine learning is and what the different types are capable of.
- Participants will be able to discriminate between different types of applications and which type of AI is likely most useful to those applications.
Generative AI and natural language
- A discussion of different types of natural language processing (including generative AI), how it is used today, and how it can impact certain companies.
- Participants will be well-versed in the practical realities and the hype surrounding natural language and generative ai.
Robotics/Mobility
- Overview of how robotics is shaping mobility, some of the considerations around mobility, and the different views around robotics/mobility.
- Participants will be able to recognize how robotics and mobility are likely to change over the next few years and the barriers to that change
The Future of AI
- A look into the research using layman's terms, a description of why it's important, and what some of the implications are
- Participants will have a better grasp of how the future is being shaped and some of the potential implications
Practical AI today
- Hands-on, real-world examples of what AI is capable of. Content depends on what services currently exist and participant interests
- Participants will leave with practical implementation steps they can take
