About this Event
Explore 2 miles of trails in Panther Branch Natural Area, an Eno River Association-owned nature preserve. Depending on recent weather, we will likely see dimpled trout lilies, Virginia spring beauty, lobed hepatica, and other ephemeral blooms.
This hike will take approximately two hours (sometimes less, sometimes more). Please feel free to bring water and snacks. Wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and shoes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are under your control and on a 6 foot leash.
This event is rain or shine. We will contact you if severe weather is expected that would cause us to cancel the hike.
If your plans change and you are unable to attend the hike, please contact [email protected] to cancel your registration so that we may offer your spot(s) to our waitlist.
Directions:
Meet next to the gravel parking area at Panther Branch Natural Area on Lebanon Road in Efland. The parking lot can only accommodate 8-10 vehicles, so please consider carpooling if you can. You may park on the side of the road directly across from the nature preserve on Lebanon Road. Please do not park in front of the neighboring house - this helps us maintain good relationships with our neighbors. :)
