Learn about the mills and the Luddites and the building of the 4 reservoirs in the Wessenden valley. We join the second turnpike then cross Wessenden Moor, crossing streams and use moorland paths before a steep climb upto the catch and down Wessenden valley with magnificent views on a clear day.This was is approx 7.5 miles and will take around 4 hours.
