About the Guided tour of Lively Places Fund - Mural Painting for Dementia Wayfinding

To help people with dementia find their way around their neighbourhood independently, a team of dedicated residents created 10 captivating wayfinding murals and a feature wall at Stirling View, Queenstown. The team collaborated with 52 elderly participants to design murals that evoked cherished memories of the past. The Agency for Integrated Care and Dementia Singapore were also consulted to ensure that the murals were effective for wayfinding, and over 110 residents came together to paint the murals.

• Photos and videos may be taken by the organisers during the tour and used for publicity purposes
• Unauthorised recording in any form, including video and audio, is not allowed during the workshop
• Participants shall be responsible for any injury, loss or damage due to carelessness or other actions on his/her part

1. Participation in this activity is entirely voluntary. Participants should be aware that this activity may carry risks of injury and/or damage to my property. I agree not to hold the Urban Redevelopment Authority and HDB responsible and to indemnify the Urban Redevelopment Authority from and against any such action and/or liability that I or a third party may suffer as a result of my own actions or negligence. If my child or ward is participating in this activity and is below 18 years old, I agree to the above on his/her behalf.
2. For safety reasons, outdoor tours might be cancelled in the event of inclement weather such as thunderstorms. We agree and accept that the Urban Redevelopment Authority and HDB shall not be held liable for any form of compensation or refund whatsoever arising out of the cancellation of the outdoor tour(s), unless otherwise stated.
3. In the event participants are unable to attend the above-mentioned workshop/tour, we agree and accept that no refund for the workshop fee/tour fee shall be made.
