Join us on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 for a Guided Sunrise Hike to King's Chair Overlook! **Weather Dependent**
You will meet your incredible Guide, David Graves, at the North Trailhead at 5am, and the hike will begin at 5:15am. This hike is considered intermediate to advanced. You will take the Red Trail to the Blue/Red Connector, then the Blue Trail to the iconic King's Chair Overlook to great the sun as a new day begins!
Front Gate entry only. It will take approximately 10 minutes or so to make it to the North Trailhead from the Front Gate so please plan accordingly. We don’t want anyone left behind!
Not stroller friendly but dogs are welcome as long as they remain on a leash.
This hike will be in the dark so you MUST bring a flashlight and/or headlamp! Other items we recommend bringing are LOTS of water, snacks, hiking poles, camera (to capture those incredible images), and weather appropriate clothing!
