Join parishioner Vince Ferrigno for a guided walk of the Stations of the Cross in the Cathedral Nave. Artist Christine Bailey hand-carved these stations. During her lifetime, Bailey lent her massive religious figures to churches. In 1974, her son, Jerome McLean, gave the stations to St. John’s Cathedral as a memorial to his mother. That year, during Holy Week, his mother’s sculptures were displayed in Burwell Court for public visitation.Throughout Lent, the fourteen stations line the perimeter of the Cathedral sanctuary. You may walk them on your own during church office hours.
