About this Event
A Guided Sound Meditation
Immerse yourself in an evening of peace and harmony with our Guided Sound Meditation at Shakti in the Mountains on March 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
As the full moon graces the night sky, we’ll come together to create a sacred space of stillness and connection. Begin your journey with gentle breathwork, deep listening, and soft movements, preparing your body and mind for the soothing embrace of a sound meditation.
Guided by a harmonious blend of ancient instruments—including the shruti box, buffalo drum, n'goni, native flute, koshi chimes, and tingsha—and modern electronic soundscapes created through Ableton Live 12, you’ll be transported into a sanctuary of sonic serenity. This unique fusion of traditional and contemporary sounds invites you to explore the depths of your inner stillness.

Meet Caitlin Smith
Rooted in the rolling hills of East Tennessee, I grew up surrounded by the gentle wisdom of mindfulness. My father introduced me to these practices at a young age, encouraging me to embrace a holistic and open-hearted approach to life. These early experiences shaped my path and deepened my connection to the natural rhythms of the world.
As an embodiment artist, certified Vinyasa yoga instructor, and sound meditation facilitator, I weave together my academic background in public health and anthropology with my love for music and global wellness traditions. My offerings are infused with intention, creating spaces of softness and safety where you can release, reconnect, and rediscover harmony within yourself.
Through the resonance of ancient instruments, modern soundscapes, and mindful movement, I guide others into deeper alignment—physically, spiritually, and emotionally. My passion lies in helping you explore the world of sound and stillness, opening pathways to peace and self-discovery.
It is my joy to share these practices with the East Tennessee community I call home, offering a sanctuary where you can simply be.
