Strahov library is a part of a functional monastery the history of which goes back to the 12th century. The library with its 250,000 volumes of books is the biggest privately owned library in the Czech Republic. About 70,000 books are stored in two extraordinarily beautiful library halls (Theological and Philosophical), which we are going to see.Come and join me on a private tour of a Strahov Library, one of my most favourite sites in Prague. This unique experience enables you to step inside the library halls, see part of the monastery collections, feel an amazing atmosphere, smell (and nearly touch) old books and discover little secrets of this amazing place.
