About this Event
Join our fantastic summer stewardship interns on a guided nature walk, where science and art converge amidst gorgeous landscapes of the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve. We'll collect plants and delicate wildflowers along our walk and then practice the craft of plant pressing to preserve our botanical specimen. Celebrate biodiversity as you immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and the preserve's enchanting trails.
As a part of our Internship program, FOPOS provides three or more internships for students actively pursuing a degree or career in ecology, natural resource management, environmental education, or related fields.
