Join us on this easy one mile in an out hike that comprises beautiful mesic hammock and scrub habitat, adjacent to the Sebastian River. Giant swamp hickory, bromeliad laden oaks and Florida wild olive trees will shade our walk while we will also be talking about the different species of epiphytes (plants that grow primarily on the surface of trees) that are native to Florida and how they interact with their environment.

On Water Vliet you drive past a little cemetery on the left, then turn right at the gated community to the parking lot.
Please bring water and mosquito spray.
