Santa Rita Ranch, owned and operated by The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County, is a uniquely conserved land. Explore the mixed hardwood forest learn about all the mushroom species to be found. After exploring the Ranch, Lindsay Best, LCSLO staff and fungi enthusiast, will help participants identify the gathered mushrooms and will cook up a sampling of edible mushrooms for the group to enjoy. The event will benefit the Octagon Barn Center, a project of The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County.
