If you love art, hate art or just don’t understand art this event is for you! This tour makes this fascinating world easy to appreciate for everyone. This fun and festive All-New gallery tour in a vibrant and magical gallery area will include: (1) stunning high-tech computer-generated animations, (2) audacious, uplifting paintings by two transgressive artists, and (3) an Asian artist’s fascinating kinetic sculptures, among 7 outstanding shows!
The tour is led by Rafael Risemberg who has a Ph.D. in arts education. He will lead you on an insightful, entertaining and affordable journey through a contemporary and amazing art scene. Rafael explains the art in ways that makes the experience meaningful for everyone while encouraging everyone to share their thoughts.
Our tours take place no matter what the weather is like. Our group will be joining Rafael’s larger group tour.
The group will meet in front 219 Bowery at Rivington St. at 3:30pm sharp.
Pay $30 when you arrive. You can pay with cash (exact change please, Venmo or Zelle)
Can I come alone? Yes 99% of the people come to this event on their own to meet new people and check out some cool art.
What do I wear? Dress for the weather. Be casual and comfortable.
What to expect: We are piggybacking on a larger tour. We will have 10 from our group. The age range for our people is 20s to 40s. The larger group is 20s to 60s.
How long does it last? about 2 hours
How will I find the group? We will send you a confirmation email with exact locations, contact info and names of those who are hosting the event when you register and send follow up emails as we get closer.
