Telliskivi may be the creative and party centre of modern Tallinn, but what was daily life like before the Creative City? Based on the exclusive memories of former employees, we will investigate building by building what was produced or made in the spaces of today's galleries, cafes and commercial premises, when it was still a large scientific hub. But that’s not all! We will also explore the historical coastline, visiting Kalarand, Kalamaja and Köismäe as well as the land taken from the sea. Did you know where the leadership of the defence forces would have taken refuge if Estonia had resisted the Soviet Union in World War II, or what exactly was done on the site of the extremely noble Kalaranna quarter?
