A FREE EVENT :-) Come and discover the quiet Yin to the Tor's Yang - the magic of the marshes, where we'll take you through the ancient landscape of the Sweet Track, the UK's oldest pathway dating from the Neolithic period.
Following in the footsteps of our ancestors we'll explore plants that have grown here for thousands of years, the dragonflies and maybe a little Somerset folklore. With time to explore at your own pace, observing, sensing, and truly noticing the land beneath your feet. Along the way we’ll pause to tune into our surroundings, and reflect on this magical landscape for focused presence and connection with nature, with place, with self.
* Meet at 1.30pm, start at 2pm sharp.
* Takes about 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
* Meet at the gate to the main track, by the bridge just south of the Avalon Marshes Centre ( it's post code is BA6 9TT).

If you don't know the area pop us a message and we'll talk you through directions but it's pretty easy to find, please car share if poss parking is limited. No need to book, just turn up at the gate before 2pm!

About Us
With backgrounds in mental health, retreats and nature-connected practice, Kate and Sam bring complementary
perspectives to their guided walking workshops. Sam’s expertise in emotional wellbeing and therapeutic facilitation is rooted in decades of community mental health work, while Kate’s experience in creative land connection, local plants and British mythology adds a rich sensory and storytelling dimension.
Together, they offer a balanced approach that supports a gentle exploration and meaningful connection to the
landscape. Their workshops are designed to be inclusive, grounded, and quietly transformative.

Who is it for: This walk is designed for adults who want to explore the Sweet Track and spend time out in nature.
Accessibility: The route is mostly level, with a few steps / narrow planks / uneven ground, and a very small bridge.
Pooches: The whole site is a nature reserve so dogs are not permitted, sorry.
