About this Event
Join us again this autumn for a fungi walk. Our walk sold out last year so be quick to nab your spot!
Are you interested in fungi? Do you want to learn more about the importance of fungi in woodlands and the role it plays in our lives? Join Em Robinson of Fight for Wildlife as we explore the wonderful world of fungi and learn about their ecology. No experience necessary!
Please note: This is a guided walk to explore fungi in-situ, we will not be collecting fungi for culinary purposes. We will be looking at the role of fungi in our ecosystems, there will be no foraging advice given.
There are limited spaces available, please book early to avoid disappointment.
Reviews:
"As someone who knew nothing about fungi, it was really interesting to learn so much on this walk! Emily is so knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that made sense to a newcomer. I can't believe how many different types of fungi are in a small patch that I never would have noticed or known how to spot."
"Emily led us on a fascinating journey through the forest unveiling the hidden world of fungi. Her passion for mycology is infectious and I learned more than I ever imagined about these incredible organisms."
